Camp #1
"Attack of the Monsters!"
(ages 7-13)
July 15 - 19, 2024
Oh NO! Horrifying Monsters have begun a premeditated attack on small towns across America. The C.R.O.W. kids are going to invent the type of monsters that are taking over the world, and create an original Newscast to inform the terrified humans what to expect and how to survive! Guess what? They'll learn important theatre skills like diction, projection, characterization, physicality, and improvisation in the process of having a whole lot of fun!

No experience is required. Space is limited. Sign up EARLY. Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm. Instructed by: Halle Anderson and Robin Mendolia. Cost: $160. Tuition includes a camp T-shirt.
**There is no end of camp performance, but pictures and videos will be shared on our Facebook page to keep parents involved in the camp experience!

"Think Fast Improv Camp"
(ages 7-13)
July 29 - August 2, 2024
During this one-week improvisation game based camp, students will learn how to think on their feet and will create hilarious scenarios using a variety of theatre skills. We will focus on confidence building, creativity, and imagination, while also fine-tuning some important skills and techniques. This camp will be fast paced and hilarious! On the last day of camp, you may even get WET!

Camp #3 - ADVANCED ACTING PROGRAM (ages 12+ with audition/invitation)
"Happy/Sad"
August 5 - 10, 2024
This year's Advanced Acting Students will perform original monologues written by Melanie Heard that revolve around those moments in life when we feel "all the feels" at once. Moments that began happy but ended in tragedy, or vice versa. Moments where you should have felt a certain way but instead felt completely the opposite. Like the comedy/tragedy masks that so eloquently represent our artform, feeling "Happy/Sad" sums up what it's like to be human.
There will be a small public performance held at the end of the camp on Friday & Saturday nights at 7 PM. Participants must agree to perform in both evening shows if enrolling in this camp.
Note AAC Camp hours are 10 am to 3 pm (extra hour!)
Minimum Age: 12+. Instructed by: Melanie Heard and Elyse Stewart. Cost: $175 - includes camp T-shirt. Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 3 pm, plus two evening shows. Participation in this camp is by audition or invitation. Ask us for information if you are new to C.R.O.W. and would like to participate.

2023 "Wacky & Wild Games" Camp

"Magic, Mischief, & Mayhem"
(ages 7-13)
August 12 - 16, 2024
Trolls, Sirens, Dragons, Elves, and other mystical creatures are not always known for being nice. On the pages of fairy tales, these characters are often found wrecking havoc on heroes and creating nothing but trouble! This camp will focus on mythical tricksters, putting them into scenes and scenarios where they may even learn a lesson or two.
Plus! This camp features a costuming component in which students will create their own unique small costume piece that they can take home at the end of camp.

No experience is required. Space is limited. Sign up EARLY. Camp hours are Mon-Fri from 10 am to 2 pm. Instructed by: Robin Mendolia and Elyse Stewart. Cost: $175. Tuition includes a camp T-shirt and take-home costume piece (i.e.- cape, mask, headpiece, etc).

Ready To Enroll? Please read this info carefully!
1 week camps = $160/$175. Tuition includes a camp T-shirt and all camp materials. Students must bring sack lunch. All other materials provided.

NOTE: AAC hours are 10 am to 3 pm. Regular camp hours are 10 am to 2 pm.

Tiny Tots camps = $30 each or all four camps for $100. Tuition does not include a camp T-shirt. Payment in full is required to hold your child's spot. A small snack and all materials are included. Students must be fully potty trained.
All camps are all NON-REFUNDABLE. Please make sure you are able to attend before enrolling.
Please note June 5th firm enrollment deadline. Last year, our camps SOLD OUT early.
Camp Location- The C.R.O.W. Center for the Performing Arts-3120 Hwy 101 in Florence.

All current COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed (according to OHA/CDC recommendations at the time of camps).
​
SCHOLARSHIP INFO: Financial need based scholarships are available on a limited basis. Scholarships require specific questions to be answered on the enrollment application. Generally we do not have funds to award more than one scholarship per child per summer. Priority is given to students/families who are "new" to C.R.O.W. and those with the greatest financial need. If you have any questions or need any clarification, please feel free to contact us at crowtheatrekids@yahoo.com. We always do our very best to award as many scholarships as we can, and are always happy to answer your questions. You will be notified by EMAIL if a scholarship has been granted, and in what amount.
